Article 1 | General
These General Terms and Conditions shall govern the legal relationship between Translations Zone and the Client, and shall supersede any (general) terms and conditions of the Client, unless Translations Zone approves the applicability of such terms and conditions in writing.

The Company provides the Services of the Company subject to the following conditions.
Article 2 | Quotations, Payments
- General quotations and estimates provided by Translations Zone shall not entail any commitment.
- Translations Zone may revoke or change prices and dates of delivery - prior to quoting such details –
- Translations Zone may consider as a Client solely registered members or an entity that has placed an order with Translations Zone through the website www.translationszone.com , unless said person or entity explicitly states that they are acting on the instructions, on behalf and at the expense of a third party, whose name and address shall be addressed to Translations Zone via an especific e-mail: contact@translationszone.com
- Agreements made and assurances given by Translations Zone will apply in accordance with the provided time and quotation on the system and will only apply to requested translations up to 10,000 words, requested translations above 10,001 words should be confirmed prior payment.
- If a translation above 10,001 has already been payed prior instruction, Translations Zone will confirm the date of delivery.
- All payments should be covered through credit card on the website www.translationszone.com
- The payment method should be as follows: 50% when the translation document is requested and 50% inmediatly when delivered , the second payment will be charged automatically once the e-mail is sent.
Article 3 | Changes to or Cancellation of Orders
- Any major changes made by the Client to an order after a request has been set, shall entitle a new order.
- Payment will appply once the text is uploaded and it will not be cancelled, please be sure at 100% prior requesting any translation.
- The total amount of the cost of the translation shall be set in accordance to the language of origin, target language, time of delivery, number of words, type of translation and if a certification is required, these concepts will determine the cost of the translation.
Article 4 | Execution of Orders and Non-Disclosure Clause
- Translations Zone undertakes to carry out orders to the best of its ability, bringing to bear sufficient professional know-how to meet the purpose specified by the Client for the text(s) to be translated or edited by, Translations Zone .
- Translations Zone shall keep any information provided by the Client confidential in so far as this is possible in connection with the performance of the contract. , Translations Zone shall require its employees to observe this code of confidentiality. However, , Translations Zone shall not be liable for any breach of confidentiality by its employees if it can sufficiently demonstrate that it was unable to prevent the same.
- Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, , Translations Zone shall be entitled to hire third parties to carry out the order (in full or in part), without prejudice to Translations Zone responsibility for the confidential treatment and proper execution of the order., Translations Zone shall require any such third party to observe this code of confidentiality. However, Translations Zone shall not be liable for any breach of confidentiality by such third parties if it can sufficiently demonstrate that it was unable to prevent the same.
Article 5 | Agreed Date and Time of Delivery
- The agreed date of delivery shall be set by the system in www.translationszone.com, unless an explicit written agreement stipulates otherwise. Translations Zone shall notify the Client immediately if it perceives that it will be unable to meet an agreed deadline.
- If a fixed delivery date is specifically agreed in writing and if the Translations Zone fails to meet it for reasons other than circumstances beyond its control, and if the Client cannot reasonably be expected to accept any further delay, the Client shall be entitled to cancel the contract unilaterally. In such cases, however, Translations Zone shall not be required to pay any compensation whatsoever. Such cancellation shall not affect the obligation on the part of the Client to pay for the work already performed.
- Delivery shall be deemed to have taken place at the moment when the text is dispatched. The moment when the text is transmitted electronically (e-mail)
- The Client shall do whatever may reasonably be necessary for the texto to be uploaded to Translations Zone , once the text is uploaded a confirmation will be sent to the client by e-mail
Article 6 | Prices and Payment
- Prices shall generally be based on Translations Zone current rate system. In addition, Translations Zone may charge the Client for any out-of-pocket expenses incurred in the execution of the order. Translations Zone shall be free to charge a minimum rate for each combination of source and target language.
- Quoted prices shall apply only to services and products conforming to agreed specifications on the system.
- Translations Zone shall be entitled to raise the agreed price if it is forced to perform more work or incur more costs than might reasonably have been foreseen on conclusion of the contract as a result of having to work with laborious, time-consuming or unclear texts, for example, or faulty files or software supplied by the Client. This list of examples is not exhaustive.
- Payment shall be charged when requesting and uploading a text and on delivery of the same in accordance with the system, second payment shall be charged automatically once the transaltions has been sent.
Article 6A | Payment method
Credit and debit cards You can pay with a VISA, MASTER CARD, Discover Network and American Express credit card from Translations Zone , this will notify us by e-mail when you have made your payment. From the notification, in a period of no more than 48 hours your payment will be validated to start processing your order.
Article 7 | Complaints and Disputes
- The Client shall be required to notify Translations Zone in writing of any complaints about the product supplied or service rendered by Translations Zone as soon as possible, yet no later than five working days after the said product is supplied or the said service is rendered. Lodging a complaint or a questions shall not release the Client from its payment obligations.
- Should the Client query the accuracy of specific passages of the translation supplied by Translations Zone and ask Translations Zone for its comments, and should Translations Zone subsequently be able to demonstrate that the passages in question are not incorrect, Translations Zone shall be entitled to charge the Client in full for the additional time spent on dealing with the query and for any other expenses incurred in this connection.
- If the Client does not lodge a complaint within the period specified in clause 7.1 above, the Client shall be deemed to have fully accepted the product supplied or the services rendered by Translations Zone , and complaints shall only be considered if Translations Zone at its sole discretion deems such to be expedient. Any changes made by Translations Zone , at the Client’s request, to any part of the translated or edited text shall in no way constitute an acknowledgement on the part of Translations Zone of supplying an inferior product or rendering an inferior service.
- In the case of a valid complaint, Translations Zone shall be allowed a reasonable period of time to improve or substitute the product or service. If Translations Zone in all fairness is unable to make the required improvements or to substitute the product or service, it may grant the Client a discount.
- The Client’s right to complain shall lapse if the Client has itself edited or has instructed others to edit the part or parts of the product forming the subject of the complaint, regardless of whether the Client has subsequently supplied the product to a third party or not.
Article 8 | Liability and Indemnity
- Translations Zone shall exclusively be liable to the Client for any loss or damage directly and demonstrably deriving from shortcomings attributable to Translations Zone . Translations Zone shall under no circumstances be liable for any other forms of loss or damage, such as indirect loss, consequential loss, trading loss, loss caused by delay in performance or loss of profit.
- Translations Zone ’s liability shall never exceed the invoice value, exclusive of VAT, of the part of the product or service in question, which part has already been invoiced and/or supplied or rendered. Translations Zone ’s liability shall never exceed USD 3,000 per event or per sequence of related events.
- Ambiguities in the text to be translated shall release Translations Zone from any liability whatsoever.
- The question of whether (the use of) a text to be translated or edited or the translation or edited version of such text, produced by Translations Zone , entails any risk of bodily injury shall be entirely at the Client’s expense and risk.
- No liability whatsoever shall be incurred by Translations Zone in respect of damage to or loss of documents, data or data carriers made available to facilitate performance of the contract. Nor shall any liability be incurred by Translations Zone in respect of any costs incurred and/or any loss or damage sustained as a result of (i) the use of information technology and telecommunications media, (ii) the transport or dispatch of data or data carriers, or (iii) the presence of computer viruses in any files or data carriers supplied by Translations Zone .
- The Client undertakes to indemnify Translations Zone against any claims by third parties deriving from the use of the product supplied or the services rendered.
- The Client similarly undertakes to indemnify Translations Zone against any claims by third parties on account of alleged violation or infringement of property rights, proprietary rights, patent rights, copyrights or any other intellectual property rights in connection with the performance of the contract.
Article 9 | Dissolution and Force Majeure
- If the Client fails to meet its obligations, if the Client is declared insolvent or bankrupt or if a petition is filed for the Client’s compulsory liquidation or bankruptcy, if the Client applies for or obtains a moratorium, if the Client is subject to an arrangement under the debt rescheduling regulations for natural persons or if the Client’s company or business is liquidated, Translations Zone shall have the right, without being required to pay any compensation, to dissolve the contract in whole or in part or to suspend performance of the contract. Translations Zone shall in that case be entitled to demand immediate payment of any outstanding amounts.
- Should Translations Zone prove unable to meet its obligations due to circumstances beyond its control and risk, it shall be entitled to dissolve the contract without being liable to pay any compensation whatsoever. Such circumstances (force majeure) include, but are not limited to: fire, accidents, illness, strikes, riots, war, terrorist attacks, transport restrictions and delays, government measures, disruption of the services of Internet providers, negligence on the part of suppliers or any other circumstances beyond Translations Zone ’s control.
- If Translations Zone is compelled by force majeure to discontinue further performance of the contract, it shall retain the right to payment for any work performed up to that moment as well as reimbursement for any costs and out-of-pocket expenses incurred.
Article 10 | Copyright
Barring explicit agreement in writing to the contrary, the copyright on translations produced by Translations Zone shall devolve upon the Client at such time as the Client meets all its financial and other obligations to Translations Zone in full with respect to the work in question.
Article 11 | Governing Law
- The legal relationship between the Client and Translations Zone shall be governed by Mexican law.
Return and Refund Policy related to digital content:
Since Translations Zone is offering non-tangible irrevocable goods we do not usually issue refunds once the order is accomplished and the product is sent. As a customer you are responsible for understanding this upon purchasing any item at our site. However, we realize that exceptional circumstance can take place with regard to the character of the product we supply. Therefore, we DO honour requests for the refund on the following reasons:
• non-delivery of the product: due to some mailing issues of your e-mail provider or your own mail server you might not receive a delivery e-mail from us. In this case we recommend contacting us for assistance. Claims for non-delivery must be submitted to "The Billing Department" by means of our contact us page within 7 days from the order placing date. Otherwise the product will be considered received and downloaded;
• download and unzipping issues: it may happen so that you are having problems while downloading the product or unzipping. Claims regarding such issues must be submitted to "The Technical Support department" by means of the contact us page. If you do not properly contact us during this period, you agree that we may construe silence as a successful download of the product with no further right of redress or refund for a "download issue" reason. Failure to receive assistance for downloading or unzipping within 3 days may result in a refund decline;
• major defects: although all the products are thoroughly tested before release, unexpected errors may occur. Such issues must be submitted to our Technical Support Team for approval. We keep the right to rectify the error or defect within 72 hours. If any deficiency is approved and we fail to correct it within 72 hours from the date of the initial complaint letter or any other notification provided by a Customer, the refund will be issued to the customer in full without any compensations or reimbursements. OR, at customer s choice, replacement of the product of the same or around the same value can be offered; Failure to notify the Technical Support Team in a timely manner may result in a delayed resolution of the issue.
• product not-as-described: such issues should be reported to our Technical Support Department within 7 days from the date of the purchase. Clear evidence must be provided proving that the purchased product is not as it is described on the website. Complaints which are based merely on the customers false expectations or wishes are not honoured.
Please note that we do not bear any responsibility and therefore we do not satisfy any refund/return/exchange requests based on incompatibility of our products with some third-party software (plug-ins, add-ons, modules, search engines, scripts, extensions etc.) other than those which are specified as compatible in a description available on the preview page of each product. We don t guarantee that our products are fully compatible with any third-party programs and we do not provide support for third-party applications.
